Redeemed

Happy Easter everyone. It won't let me embed this clip from The Mission but I used it in my class presentation to show the power of touch in fall and redemption for Robert De Niro's character and his self-imposed penance - watch it again and see how touch is used. I imagine Jesus as the one cutting the rope for us, but also as the one carrying the load.

In his resurrection the load was cut from Jesus as well as from us, releasing and redeeming us into the embrace of God.
