Deflated but not destroyed

Today's unexpected art prompt was a set of balloons that I received a few weeks ago and which are now sadly deflated. They have got to the stage where you can press them with your finger and they wrinkle to that point and stay wrinkled, which is quite fun to do. It made them look somewhat diseased.

And, naturally, I felt led to take pictures and tweak them, as is my wont. There's a sort of Halloween vibe to the result (or bacteria, maybe).
So today's life lesson, which I needed, is that even when you are deflated you can still make art.
