So when I wasn't catching pneumonia, I had a lovely time in San Jose, California back in February. Among the fun things was a requested trip to Henry Cowell state park to see some redwoods. This is the biggest tree, at 270 feet. Can you see me?

I loved how the bark pattern swirled around as it went up. Makes it easier for the blue people to climb up it, we were told.

And this was at Prager's Winery and Port works in Napa. It seemed a lot less strange after five large tastes of port.
