Last weekend I had my annual watching of Dead Poet's Society. I find it hard to believe that movie is over twenty years old - I remember going with my friend Anne to see it at the two-screen cinema in Stevenage, where you had to wait outside in a line before the movie, where they had intermission ('albatross!') between the cartoons the main feature, and where I completely lost it in this movie, not having any idea beforehand what the story was going to be.
This is one of my favourite scenes, and, in case by some freak of happenstance you haven't yet seen it, is not as much of a spoiler as, say, the brilliant last scene.
